As part of our humanitarian outreach, Manipur North Economic Development Association (MNEDA) extended educational support to children residing in the Hengbung Relief Camp. Essential stationery items such as notebooks, pens, pencils, scales, erasers, and geometry boxes were distributed to ensure children could continue their studies despite the challenging circumstances.
To further support their learning, home tuition classes were organized for a period of three months — October, November, and December. Three dedicated female tutors from Hengbung were appointed to assist the children in their education.
This initiative aimed to provide a sense of normalcy, encourage continuous learning, and bring hope to children affected by displacement.
